Taking the coding out of responding
The RAapp SMS version will allows responders to communicate with Irish Ambulance Service, National Control Centre when dispatched to an emergency call. Responder can use the large buttons instead of codes to update the control centre while they are on an emergency call. Responder can call their Buddy's as well as the ambulance control centre from within the app. While the control centre is being updated the app will simultainouly update their buddy's of their status on the call (this feature only availble on android). The RAapp is only of any use to those responder groups who are already linked to the National Ambulance Service and receiving emergency calls via text.

The RAapp data version will allows responders to communicate with Irish Ambulance Service, National Control Centre when dispatched to an emergency call. While the data version of the app has all the fetures of the SMS version it has many more fetures.
The app will notifiy responders via push notificiation of an emergency call. Respondes can to use large buttons rather than codes to update the control centre that they are active on a call. When fully intratgrated with the national ambulance control centre, responder will be able to see the incident location on mapping. The app had the potentiall to show the responder the location of nearby AED's (Defibs).
The RAapp will also log responers calls on website availble to the responder group. The will be able to see their average responce times and the call they have attened over a set peroid of time, enabling them to report this information at monthy meeting or AGM's.
While the RAapp data version is still been tested it can be downloaded at use in demo mode. Please let know what you think.
